They say it’s better to give than to receive. How silly. I haven’t given any gifts in years — but I receive plenty and it’s awesome.
It is obviously better to receive than to give. Who wouldn’t want that? That old adage is just an all-too-clever ploy to get people to give more gifts so that others — like myself — can receive. It’s a brilliant idea.
And it’s working, by the way.
I have received everything from fruitcake to sweaters to light-up ties to parking tickets this season!
